Safety & Usage Guidance
Candle Compatibility
MEVA warms candles using top-down heat. While most standard household jar candles work well, not all candle containers are designed for candle warmers. Some glass containers may react differently to heat and, in certain conditions, may crack or break.
Before each use, inspect the candle container carefully. Only use candles in intact, stable, heat-resistant glass containers. Do not use candles with chips, cracks, loose bases, or prior damage. Avoid very thin, fragile, or handmade containers not intended for warming.
If you notice cracking sounds, movement of the container, unusual odor, or visible glass damage, turn the unit off and allow it to cool completely before removing the candle. Discontinue use of that candle immediately.
Surface & Placement
Always place the warmer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Suitable surfaces include wood, stone, or countertops. If unsure, use a tray or protective base underneath.
Keep the unit at least 30 cm away from curtains, bedding, fabrics, paper, decorations, and other flammable materials. Do not place on carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, or near edges where it may be knocked over.
Use indoors only and away from moisture, sinks, or water sources.
Supervision & Household Use
The warmer produces heat and should be used as a supervised household appliance. Do not leave the unit operating while sleeping, away from home, or unattended for extended periods.
Position the warmer where it cannot be easily reached, pulled, or tipped by children or pets. Allow the lamp, bulb, and candle to cool before touching or moving.
The built-in timer helps limit heating time but does not replace normal supervision.
Electrical Use
Only use the supplied bulb or an identical replacement of the same type and wattage specified for your model. Using higher-wattage bulbs, heat lamps, or incorrect bulb types may cause overheating and damage the candle or unit.
Use only the voltage model intended for your country. Do not use step-up or step-down converters, and avoid high-power plug adapters. Ensure the cord is not pinched, covered, or placed under rugs or furniture.
Unplug the unit before cleaning or changing the bulb.
Glass Dome & Condition
The glass dome is part of the heat-distribution system. Do not operate the warmer if the dome is cracked, chipped, loose, or otherwise damaged.
If the dome breaks, turn the unit off, unplug it, and allow all components to cool completely before handling. Contact support before using the warmer again.
General Precautions
This product removes the open flame of traditional candles but still generates heat. Normal household precautions for heated appliances should be followed at all times.
